Part 2- The Center for Justice Research stands for...?
A recent Houston Chronicle report on the Center for Justice Research lays bare the sad and disappointing news that all of us knew too well and for far too long- the Center for Justice Research is more along the lines of the Center for Joke Research! Or perhaps, more aptly Court Jesters Reunited? The Harris County DA, Kim Ogg has been asking for more Assistant DA's but the City Council has pushed back twice against her requests. So why does the Center want to create junk science in order to push the Harris County DA's (perhaps?) political agenda for more Assistant DA's?
