Problematic Post-Tenure Review Process at SOPA, SOE & SOB?

Looks like several professors in the Schools of Public Affairs(SOPA), School of Education and Jones School of Business are possibly being targeted by their individual Deans and/or the Office of the Provost(?).  In at least one school- SOPA post-tenure rules were initially claimed to be approved by Interim Chair Majumdar but this appears to be incorrect and they have not been approved.   From: Majumdar, Sarmistha <Sarmistha.Majumdar@tsu.edu> Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2021 4:28 PM To: Adams, Michael O <Michael.Adams@tsu.edu>; Christophe, Antoinette <Antoinette.Christophe@tsu.edu>; Ewoh, Andrew <Andrew.Ewoh@tsu.edu>; Perez-Feliciano, Luis <Luis.Perez-Feliciano@tsu.edu>; Olonilua, Oluponmile O. <Oluponmile.Olonilua@tsu.edu>; Robinson, Carroll <Carroll.Robinson@tsu.edu> Cc: Kieh, George <George.Kieh@tsu.edu>; Majumdar, Sarmistha <Sarmistha.Majumdar@tsu.edu> Subject: Post Tenure Guidelines   Dear Colleagues

We want to congratulate all the award winners- the University Museum, Earl Carl Institute and especially SOPA's own Dr. Henderson and Dr. Bullard .....we received this email on February 2, 2021.   Interestingly enough.....there hasn't been a SINGLE email of congratulations amongst the SOPA faculty, research is keeping them too busy.....or perhaps in 7 months we may see a flurry of emails all over again?   ;-) https://transparencystate.blogspot.com/2020/10/sopa-7-months-to-congratulations-hmmmm.html Texas Southern University receives $4.75M from Houston Endowment Award establishes Environmental and Climate Justice center at TSU, supports University academic, arts and social justice programs HOUSTON (February 2, 2021) - Texas Southern University (TSU) has been awarded funding totaling $4.75 million from Houston Endowment for several academic, arts and social justice initiatives.
