Law School accreditation in jeopardy?

In light of the law school admissions scandal, should we be worried about our law school accreditation status with the ABA?  According to the Houston Chronicle and The Texas Tribune maybe we should be:

Today we bring you a story filled with money!  Yes, money! Really good money for our newly appointed deans at TSU according to open documents filed at the BOR meeting in June.  We had heard rumors of a $1 million payout but we had to see the documents for ourselves!  What a windfall! Dr. George Kieh, Dean of School of Public Affairs (SOPA)- $195,000- his predecessor made a salary of $156,000 so way to go Dean Kieh!  Dr. Needha Boutte-Queen, Dean of COLABS- $195,000- we are not aware what her predecessor made but wowza!  Dr. David Chi-Chung Ye, Dean of Jones School of Business- $225,000- we are not aware what his predecessor was earning- you all may recall the first story we ever published of the mysterious case of the missing dean! Has Dean Kieh lost SOPA?

We wonder- will Dean Kieh be replaced very soon?  He seems to have completely lost control over his management and leadership of SOPA and needs to prove his authority and competence by screaming at faculty and staff.   He also seems to have copied on the Provost, HR and General Counsel.  Kieh's own email ironically contradicts his own demand to prevent "mass emails" by CCing HR, Provost and General Counsel.  Interestingly enough, Provost James Ward sent a similar email several years ago and was shortly replaced by then President Lane.   We do wonder: Does history repeat itself at TSU?  We believe so.   Thu 1/20/2022 10:48 AM Dear Colleagues, Warm greetings. What happened to the Registrar- Ms. Marilyn Square?

It seems that Ms. Marilyn Square, TSU's decades-long Registrar and the second-most powerful TSU administrator has abruptly retired in August without any recognition or well-wishing from TSU for all her years at TSU. Not even a single email announcing her retirement!   Ms. Square was extremely well-known and recognized for all her hard work on behalf of our students.  Routinely Ms. Square would spend weekends and nights assisting students and faculty to make sure our students were able to graduate on time.   The Registrar is actually more powerful than the Provost and is the only administrator (besides the President) who can over-rule the Provost.  Rumors are that the Provost repeatedly did not agree with the Registrar on certain academic issues and is possibly the reason why Ms. Square has left the university without any fanfare or thanks for her service.   We find it very disappointing that a personal disagreement between 2 administrators has po...
